Searching for life, a user’s manual - Arte Radio
‘Life,a user’s manual, the famous novel by Georges Perec, is about the life of a building located at number 11, rue Simon-Crubellier. Two multimedia artists came from Australia to search for this imaginary street in the 17th arrondissement of Paris.’
Norie Neumark and Maria Miranda were interested in this space between the real and imaginary. Their project poses the question: is it possible to bring something that does not exist into existence by searching for it?
